Getting Started

Welcome to the Eddy Family Outdoor Learning Lab. Please read the following instructions in preparation for the field biology research you will be conducting today:

Step 1

In your group assign the following tasks:

Biologist: responsible for scanning the QR codes using the QR reader.

Researcher: responsible for entering the data collected on the appropriate forms.

Naturalist(s): responsible for identifying species with the field guide.

Step 2

At each station begin by having the Biologist scan the QR code located in the lower right corner of the sign and watch the video tutorial as a group, then get started collecting data!

Step 3

Move to the next station, moving in a clockwise direction, when the instructor gives you a signal.

Step 4

Have fun and thank you for helping our researchers collect data!
